Advantages

Advantages of EP Telematics

Asset tracking

The Fleet Management System offers a real-time overview of your fleet, allowing you to monitor your valuable assets when they are on the road and off.

Uptime boosting

The Fleet Management System offers a real-time overview of your fleet, allowing you to monitor your valuable assets when they are on the road and off.

Battery monitoring

The BMS system in EP lithium-ion batteries ensures safety by protecting them from overheating and overcharging. The Telematics fleet management system integrates with the BMS to provide real-time, wireless monitoring of battery conditions. For example, the graphic illustrates a typical charging curve of a lithium-ion battery during daily operation. By charging during breaks and lunchtime, you can enhance both the battery's uptime and the truck's productivity.

Predictive maintenance

The fleet management system easily connects to your mobile devices, allowing for remote diagnostics that enhance the efficiency of after-sales service.

Remote start-stop

The remote start-stop function allows fleet management companies to activate and deactivate trucks remotely. This feature is particularly beneficial for fleet rental businesses, as it enables fleet owners to set leasing hours and dates for each truck and receive notifications when leases expire.

The Powerful of
Our Telematics System

  • Our telematics system is provided at no cost (free) to customers who purchase or rent equipment from us. We set up an account and integrate the equipment into your system. Customer can directly access to the system.
  • A dashboard allows you to monitor the number of units you own and view real-time equipment faults.
  • Each equipment's detailed information, including serial number, total working hours, online status, last online timestamp, and more, can be viewed. You can label the equipment with details like department, operator, and location for clear identification.
  • Historical data is available for reviewing past information such as battery power, speed, and technical details. The battery power data indicates charging status and history, helping you monitor charging practices.
  • Historical fault logs detail real-time and past equipment issues, including explanations and solutions. This allows our technicians to prepare necessary parts in advance, minimizing equipment downtime compared to other forklift types. Additional to that, EP Equipment in China has all the data of all sold units in the market, which helps the manufacturer to improve its parts and equipment. Thus, a better and improved equipment can be produced.
  • Our telematics system enables remote adjustment of equipment settings such as travel speed, lift and tilt speeds, and side-shift operations, eliminating the need for on-site adjustments. We can even remotely shut down the equipment if rental payments are overdue.
  • You can track equipment working hours and generate statistics over 7, 15, 30 days, or custom periods. This helps in assessing average daily usage and deciding on equipment additions.
  • Efficiency statistics charts display equipment online status and operational efficiency. For example, a 90% efficiency indicates online status without productive use, highlighting potential battery wastage.
  • All data can be exported and printed, facilitating detailed analysis and reporting.
  • The telematics system provides real-time data and information updates continuously.
